The Italian car giants have revealed the strictly limited J50 and it’s an absolute beast.
It’s strictly limited, with only ten of them being made, so we can imagine that the cost will pretty high for the Italian stallion.
The car is a two-seater mid-rear-engined roadster is based on the Ferrari 488 Spider
The 3.9-litre V8 found in the Spider has been tuned up to 681bhp.
Although we don’t know the exact top speed and 0-62mph time, expect it to get out of puff around 200mph and scream in to life in about 3.0seconds.
Ferrari have given the J50 a nostalgic nod, returning to the targa body style, reminiscent of some of their road cars of the 1970s and 1980s.
The bodywork is an all-new futuristic design with sharp edges, steep curves and a grill that makes it look ready to pounce.
It looks muscular due to the raised wheel arches and low cut bonnet, with two carbon-fibre channels embedded into it and engine is framed in a polycarbonate cage at the back.
The interior is finished in red and black, in classic Ferrari style
Inside the car the interior has been intricately finished in a special shade of three-layer red with a red-over-black interior trimmed in fine leather.
The J50 was announced during the special 50th anniversary celebration held at the National Art Center in Tokyo.
Each customer lucky to get their hands on one, will also be able to personalise it to fit their specific desires.
